Travian Gold Refund - The truth they do not want you to know

Having asked for a refund on gold spent on my account following my unusual banning, i was told i could not have a refund and basically get lost, well lucky for me i bought my gold using paypal so i contacted the nice folks at paypal and opened a Resolution Centre case, i told the nice folks at paypal what had happened and started the process of getting a refund.

Once the folks at travian where contact by paypal i was banned for requesting a chargeback,

but i was already banned so who cares, the folks at travian also demanded that i pay all bank charges and my account would be unbanned,

Well that long letter from Travian proved before all doubt that these guys where attempting to break the law to say the least, so i passed on that letter to the nice folks at PayPal to strengthen my case.

Shortyl afterwards i received an email from paypal telling me they had decided in my favour and i would be refunded, i filed a dozen cases against Travian and won all but one.

So if you are ever in my shoes, payed for gold to use on travail and find yourself in a situation where you can no longer use your gold you can get a refund for certain if you purchased your gold via PayPal.

Travian do not want you to know this and will feed you the old line you cannot be refunded for gold purchases, but i am proof you can.

In the real world there are laws that protect you when you spend your money, you are entitled to a certain level of service, an email from Travian admin saying no to a refund is not the law, just someones opinion.  Take them on the law is on your side.

Well since creating this blog i have tried to alert other Travian users of there consumer rights, but typical of Travian they do not want you to have this knowledge so continually remove my forum posts and have now banned me from the forum:
